Due to a grant that the Ridgeview received, we have a bank of 3 Replicator +'s made by Makerbot. These are available for students, staff, and the general public to use. To find a pre made design, you can check Thingiverse or another repository, or if you would like to design your own you can use Tinkercad or most Windows computers come pre installed with 3D Builder. Members of the STEM club can also be commissioned to design 3D prints as well, although there would be a small increase to the print cost that can be negotiated with the student.
To submit a design it must be rendered in a .obj or .stl file tip, with preference for stl.
To submit a design, simply click on the "Submit Design" button above and fill in the required information, and I will respond as soon as I am able for clarification needed. Printing is done on a first come first serve basis.
The prints cost vary between 5 and 10 cents a gram of plastic, averaging about 7 cents per gram. Most non complicated prints (such as a figurine or key chain) will be 60-80 cents, with costs growing based on size and complexity of the object.
